Founded in 2000 as an espresso bar in Ithaca's Fall Creek neighborhood, Gimme! Coffee became a pioneer in direct-trade sourcing. After founder Kevin Cuddeback retired in 2020, the company transitioned to a worker-owned cooperative under CEO Colleen Anunu, becoming the largest worker-owned retail and wholesale company in the coffee industry. Won Roast Magazine's 'Roaster of the Year' in 2013.

Every spotlight links to that roaster’s full profile page, which lists every coffee they have in our database along with pricing, ratings, and a direct link to buy from the roaster.
How are roasters chosen for the index?
All 100 roasters in our catalog are independent specialty coffee roasters with at least one SCA-scored coffee in our database. We track their sourcing philosophy, founding story, and full coffee lineup.
Can roasters submit themselves for the spotlight?
The spotlight rotates automatically through every roaster already in our database — there’s no submission process. Browse the full list at /roasters/.
